May 13, 2008 – Bride-to-be Sam Foster scooped a way to record her wedding memories forever when her cat won a camcorder. Miss Foster, 31, won the Sony camcorder - top prize in a competition run by Pet Protect Pet Insurance.
The Personal Trainer said: "I'm getting married in July. I have got something blue, old and borrowed and now I have something new too!"
The win is really down to her cat Pixie. The one-year-old Siamese, who loves to be cuddled in the morning before eating breakfast with Sam, won in a draw of new Pet Protect customers.
She added: "This is a godsend as my fiancé is at university so we are on a tight budget. Without this prize we would not have had the chance to record our most special day, so a huge thanks to Pet Protect and Pixie!
