Phoenix, AZ – Hawaii’s living reef ecosystem, also called the “rainforest” of the sea, has the largest percentage of coral reefs and more than 7,000 known species of marine plants and animals. Through Experience the Spiritual Connection of the Reef led by shamanic healer and animal communicator Carla Person, students will experience a spiritual connection with Hawaii’s reef life and fish through shamanic journeying.

“Hawaii’s coral reef ecosystem is rich not only with more than 1,200 unique species of marine life but rich with ancient spirits,” said Person. “By connecting with the ancient spirits that underlie this ecosystem, you’re able to expand your awareness of all life.”

Through a day of snorkeling and shamanic journeying, Person will teach how to communicate with Hawaii’s  fish and reef life. The Experience the Spiritual Connection of the Reef to be held in Kona, Hawaii on August 17, 2008 is an optional class as part of the  two-day Shamanic Journeying and Animal Healing workshop on August 15-16, 2008.

According to Hawaii’s Living Reef Program, over 25% of all marine life is endemic to Hawaii and scientists are finding new species regularly. “Students will be able to meet ancient Hawaiian ancestors and spirit guides who inhabit the island’s living reef ecosystem and receive love-filled guidance and wisdom, while becoming one with the marine plants and animals,” said Person.

The two-day Shamanic Journeying and Animal Healing workshop will teach students how to communicate with animals through shamanic journeys, then request  the compassionate spirits that they work with to remove the  animal’s pain and suffering, and infuse them with healing love. “Most people have verifiable communication experiences within the first few hours of our workshop,” said Person. “These loving spirits will guide each student in their personal life too providing advice, empowerment and protection.”

During the two-day workshop, students will meet their personal spirit guides and loving ancestors who will connect them to and facilitate the conversations with their animals. They will learn how to:
--Learn to communicate with the spirits of living animals, exchanging information and establishing a heart connection.
--Discover and deepen your relationship with your spirit power animal; your personal guide and teacher.
--Connect with animals who have crossed over, and offer healing to the people they left behind.
--Learn about using shamanic healing for treatment of physical and emotional problems.
