May 12, 2008 – Every girls loves shoes. During The Oprah Show episode that aired May 2, Tom Cruise and Oprah Winfrey toured his mountain home in Telluride, Colorado where they found the ladybug shoes belonging to his daughter Suri.
The official name of Suri’s shoe is Little Ladies Mjs by Monkey-Toes. Monkey-
Toes designer Jenny Chism created a line of hand-painted insect and animal themed canvas shoes. The line consists of nine creatures available in two different styles of shoes, tennis shoes and Mary Janes. Elastic no-tie laces, resembling springs, are included with each tennis shoe. Each hand-painted shoe is treated with a textile medium for longevity and wash-ability. The exact color and designs of each shoe vary since the shoes are hand-painted. All Monkey-Toes are packaged in cellophane with a gingham ribbon ready for gift-giving.
My Designer Baby, an online baby boutique, caters to mothers with a sense of fashion and announced their partnership with Monkey-Toes on May 2, 2008. In celebration of this partnership My Designer Baby will donate 10% of May’s proceeds from the sales of Monkey-Toes products to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
