The China International Boat Show positions itself as a key platform for companies to reach the growing Asia market and is organised by CMP Sinoexpo in association with the China Boat Industry and Trade Association (CBITA).
“China's boat industry is still at the infant stage and no formal distribution channels have been established in China, making this show one of the most effective ways to showcase a product, test the market and follow-up with leads,” explains Cathy Cao of event organisers CMP Sinoexpo.
“Organising the event on a more professional basis and being able to provide exhibitors with reliable information about the show is important for its ongoing development and is a requirement of the International Federation of Boat Show Organisers,”
BPA’s auditing of the China International Boat Show comes two months before Stuart Wilkinson, BPA’s Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa addresses the Congress of the International Federation of Boat Show Organisers in Barcelona in June. The IFBSO, which exists to assist member organisations mount cost-effective, quality exhibitions for the recreational marine industry worldwide, requires event organisers to publish audited attendance figures.
Event auditing by BPA Worldwide gives show organisers independent data about their event with which to attract potential exhibitors and retain existing ones. Audits can verify who attended a show and backs up the organiser’s claims from a year before. It provides accurate and timely data to justify increased space buying or sponsorship opportunities to exhibitors.
It also identifies attendee buying trends that can be passed onto exhibitors.
Ends.
