Patience "Pat" Oaktree is the protagonist in Patience and the Porsche (Green Square Publishing), the first novel about a professional organizer that was written by a professional organizer. The plot centers around Pat and her new client taking on a $100,000 organizing challenge, all while trying to unravel the mystery of the handsome Porsche owner who visits next door.
The book won the Best Organizing Book Award at the 2008 Los Angeles Organizing Awards.
The fan club is the brainchild of author Valentina Sgro, Shaker Heights, Ohio-based professional organizer and owner of SGRO Consulting, Solutions for Getting Really OrganizedSM. "I receive a steady stream of emails asking when the sequel to Patience and the Porsche will be out. The fan club is a way for readers to receive tips and story tidbits in the meantime," explains Sgro.
Julie Bestry, President of Best Results Organizing in Chattanooga, Tennessee, applauded Sgro, saying, "You'll have done for professional organizers what Rowling did for wizards."
Patience Oaktree Fan Club tips, polls, and merchandise are available to everyone. Fan Club membership privileges include access to club-exclusive short stories, the "Ask Pat" advice column, special offers, and more.
Patience and the Porsche is available through the publisher and at Amazon.com. The second book in the Patience Oaktree series is scheduled for release in June 2009.
