May 09, 2008 – 7Side would like to assure all its customers that any filed mortgage information supplied by us is sourced directly from Companies House Direct and is not purchased as bulk data feed. This essentially means that all mortgage information or images we supply accurately reflects what is held on the Companies House Direct records. This applies to our Companies House Direct extranet service and to any document packages that we compile on behalf of customers.
The following is an extract of a statement made by Companies House:
“The actual register of mortgages and other charges – as held by Companies House and made public in accordance with the Companies Acts – is up to date and accurate “
The statement relating to the bulk out put product used by most commercial data base companies, but not by ourselves, states as follows;
“Following recent internal system changes within Companies House, we have been alerted by customers to certain problems with the data contained in its bulk mortgage data product (specifically, some transaction types not being picked up at all and others being picked up only sporadically)
. This problem relates only to the bulk output product.”
