“Each interview I go on I have a chance to address the nationwide drug epidemic and share my story,” says Stephen. “Ultimately I hope my book will encourage others to learn from my mistakes and realize it is never too late to turn your life around.”
In a time when prescription and illegal drug abuse has reached an all time high amongst teens and young adults, Rising Above the Influence tells the story of Stephen’s addiction and the dark road it brought him down.
“The release of Rising Above the Influence is very timely as the ongoing national drug problem continues to soar,” says Stephen, who is also the President of Turning Point Rehabilitation Center in Verona, NJ. “The message portrayed in my book is clear—recovery is possible for anyone who is willing to get help.”
