FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)May 08, 2008 – Cieffe S.p.A., Duevi S.n.C., Argos Technologies and Bettini S.r.l., providers of intelligent digital video recording products and services, have just become certified ImmerVision Enables partners. ImmerVision Enables DVR/NVR/VMS certification is important in today’s security/surveillance industry, since along with the ImmerVision IMV1-1/3 panomorph lens, panoramic functionality can be added to standard analog or IP cameras without expensive implementation costs of other panoramic technologies, such as fisheye and mirror lenses.

“Cieffe, Duevi, Argos Technologies and Bettini (GAMS), distinguish themselves as innovative market leaders in video surveillance products,” said Yves Messier, ImmerVision Vice-President, Video Surveillance Applications. “Demand by end-users to “see everything, everywhere” in real-time or in playback is growing rapidly within the video surveillance industry. Now Cieffe, Duevi, Argos and Bettini’s ImmerVision Enables products can support current or new security camera installations with the ability to view a 360° surveillance area with a single camera and IMV1-1/3 panomorph lens, which was unheard of a couple of years ago,” he added.

For live demonstrations of ImmerVision Enables panoramic functionality combined with the IMV1-1/3 panomorph lens, please visit Cieffe booth # 17060 and Duevi booth # 18087 at IFSEC 2008, May 12 – 15 in Birmingham, UK.
