Splendido, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Tucson, announced today that Mark Blazer has joined the organization as executive director. In this role he will work with Splendido managers and staff to further define the organization’

"In Mark, we have found a leader that understands and embraces our core philosophy of creating ways for older adults to age well.”
Blazer brings more than 27 years of experience in the fields of retirement community management, finance and health-care to the organization. Most recently, he was the vice president of operations for Retirement Living Services in Hartford, Conn., where he was responsible for the management, oversight and support of more than twenty retirement communities across the United States. He has also held vice president positions with Era Living in Seattle, Wash., and Pacific Retirement Services in Medford, Ore.
Blazer holds a bachelor’s degree in public health and business administration from Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota. He attended graduate course work at Cal-State San Bernardino. He also received his licensure in long term care administration from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minn.
