(Minneapolis, MN) – Music producer, Chad Sharp, has started a series of blog posts that explain how musicians can book their own tour.
“In 2005 I released my CD and booked my own tour without using any agents, or outside management,”
Sharp says he decided to share his technique with anyone who visits his website and blog. He said his style of music fit well with coffee shops, but other venues could be booked with the ideas as well.
“I wanted to book small, intimate performances. I chose coffee shops to do that,” Sharp adds.

Sharp started his company, C-Sharp Productions, in 1996 in Mitchell, SD. The company focuses on working with vocalists and songwriters to record demos and CD projects. In 2007 Sharp relocated the business to Minneapolis, MN. Sharp was recently interviewed in a story that was published in the April issue of More Magazine that featured Helen Mirren on the cover.
