The race is a punishing non-stop, around the clock 3000 miles from one side of the States to the other.
Starting on 11 June competitors have up to 9 days to complete the race. There will be solo, 2-person, 4-person and 8 person teams. Brian and Stacey will be the only mixed pair in the 2-person section.
The record for a Mixed Pair is this combination stands at 7 days and 18 hours, which they aim to beat.
Although largely self-funded, Stacey and Brian are currently seeking further sponsorship. Sponsors already on board are Exposure Lights, a vital ingredient for cycling at night, JSNT for fitness of the two riders, and High5 who provide superior quality sport nutrition.
