FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) –
May 06, 2008 – Greenville, SC - - Steve Hoffman, President of Skyline Exhibits & Design, was recently graduated from Leadership South Carolina, the state’s oldest and most respected leadership development program. As a member of the class of 2008, Hoffman was able to meet and network with other business executives, community and government leaders and social change agents who collectively held the same concerns about pursuing positive change in South Carolina. Sessions centered on natural resources, quality of life, economic development, education, social and diversity issues were held around the state with regional experts who facilitated panel discussions, experiential learning and class interaction. Hoffman came away from this learning experience with a broader understanding of the key issues facing the Palmetto State and how his leadership qualities can make an impact within the state through his Skyline Exhibits & Design business.
“The status quo will only yield mediocre results and expecting anything more without action makes little sense,” says Hoffman. “We have a great state and need to understand that there are competitive forces that are global in scope that will impact the future of residents and this region. Getting involved to make a difference is a step in the right direction which I am committed to do both personally and through my business toward improving South Carolina.” Hoffman was chosen for the 2008 Leadership South Carolina class based on his active commitment in the local Greenville community. Hoffman has previously served as Co-Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce’s Links Committee, as a Board of Directors member at Temple of Israel and as founder of the Small Market Peer to Peer Mentoring Association for Skyline’s Dealer Group. As a graduate of Syracuse University, Hoffman has been involved in sales and marketing leadership roles for 25 years and is currently President of Skyline Exhibits & Design in Greenville.
