PRLog (Press Release) –
May 06, 2008 – The Rutland Arms Hotel in Newmarket is delighted to announce the appointment of Stephanie Carvell as general manager. Located on the High Street, Stephanie will lead the 30 strong team at the historic former coaching inn as refurbishment begins on an indulgent new restaurant and wine bar.
Stephanie formerly held the position of operations manager at the hotel for four years and her career has included a number of roles at international brands including Center Parcs and Caffè Uno. Her new role will see her responsible for the day to day running of the Rutland Arms Hotel whilst co-ordinating the long term investment as part of the Oxford Hotels & Inns group. Restaurant facilities at the 46 bedroom period hotel which dates from the reign of Charles II will be refurbished to enhance the fine dining experience it already offers Newmarket residents and hotel guests. The work is due to be completed at the end of March. Stephanie, who is from Newmarket originally, said: "The Rutland Arms is a landmark Newmarket hotel and I'm excited to be at the helm as it enters a new era. Kicking off with a brand new restaurant, I look forward to developing the hotel to its full potential with the help and support of my dedicated team." Mark Edwards, managing director of Oxford Hotels & Inns, said: "Stephanie has already proved herself to be an asset to the hotel and it's great that we've been able to appoint from within the group. The investment planned for the Rutland Arms Hotel will ensure that it continues to offer great accommodation and impeccable service."
