May 05, 2008 – To celebrate 150 years of AFL Football, Entertainment Store Group in association with the AFL presents the AFL MASCOT MANOR FOOTY FEST . A fun packed footy extravaganza for the whole family to enjoy, the traveling festival will tour Victoria during July school holidays, bringing a whole day of footy activities, live shows, games and adventure zones to 12 different venues from Greensborough to Geelong.
AFL MASCOT MANOR FOOTY FEST encompasses everything kids love about footy. Children can meet their favourite AFL footy players whilst taking part in Auskick footy clinics, all under the one roof. The characters from AFL Mascot Manor will be out in force, showing off their brand new live shows on the main stage and seeking out fans young and old for the Mascot Manor Handball Competition. The amazing Inflatable Adventure Arena will have kids bouncing off the walls, literally! Parents can relax while youngsters enjoy our Games Zone, complete with Bucking Footy and Activity Centre, and live shows on our Footy Fest Main Stage will also star pre-school favourites The Powerpuff Girls and Bob the Builder. Kids can meet and greet Ben and Four Arms from Cartoon Network's Ben 10, and all the characters from AFL Mascot Manor will be there to hang out with their biggest fans! AFL MASCOT MANOR FOOTY FEST is a great day out for young families, and the perfect excuse to get everyone together during the school holidays. The Footy Fest promotes fun, exercise and healthy competition – and what’s more fun than footy? AFL MASCOT MANOR FOOTY FEST kicks off on Tuesday 1 July and tours Victoria until Sunday 13 July.
