FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)May 05, 2008 – IRVINE, CA – Earthbound Media Group (EMG) is thrilled to announce its repeat exposure in the Print on Demand Initiative’s (PODI) highly acclaimed annual Best Practices in Digital Print report for 2008 after being featured in last year’s edition as well. This year, EMG’s variable data work for its higher education clients University of La Verne (ULV) and Teacher’s College, Columbia University was featured for their success in personalizing the admissions and recruitment process and increasing enrollment figures for both institutions. The featured case studies highlight each client’s challenges along with a detailed account of EMG’s creative workflow process and outstanding client results.

“This type of acknowledgement and notoriety by PODi is a true testament to the ongoing innovative work EMG has continued to lead the industry with,” said Damien Navarro, EMG Principal and Chief Visionary Officer.

Both personalized print publications were developed to provide prospective students with the most relevant content related to their academic and student life interests and are driven by a custom-built back-end and a database-powered digital press application called XMPie initiated when a user completes an online form, indicating their specific interests and preferences. Setting the benchmark one client at a time, EMG’s cost-effective solutions for ULV and Teachers College has successfully strengthened their unique brands while reaching out to their intended audience.

“Earthbound Media Group is honored and extremely thrilled to once again make the pages of the PODi case study publication with two of this year’s featured projects,” added Lawrence Williford, EMG Partner and Art Director. “We couldn’t be more proud of the outcome of both the University of La Verne and Teachers College, Columbia University’s VDP projects.”

With a commitment to compile the most comprehensive source of benchmark digital print-on-demand case studies, PODi’s Best Practices collection is a highly sought after resource that covers over twelve market segments. This year’s collection features forty-five brand new case studies, representing the best of digital printing. Each individual case was evaluated and selected for its innovative efforts in resolving communication needs by implementing proven strategies and developing new, innovative strategies toward developing more competitive practices.
