Karen L. Cassiday, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist. She completed her Ph.D. at the Finch Universtiy of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School Dept. of Clinical Psychology and her predoctoral internship at University of Mississippi Medical Center/Jackson UAMC. She is on faculty at Finch University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School and Rush Medical School and maintains an active teaching career.She has published research and case studies in the area of anxiety disorders. She enjoys presenting her work at local, regional, and national meetings. Her areas of special interest are obsessive-compulsive disorder, compulsive hair pulling, shyness, and anxiety in children. She serves as the co-chair of the Scientific Board of the Obsessive Compulsive Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago.
