Gaithersburg, MD - NSCA Technology and Tra-Cal Lab recently participated in a OSDBU workshop, in Upper Marlboro Maryland. The workshop focus was to further the Federal Government’s initiative in fostering small businesses to grow as suppliers to DoD, Military, Federal Agencies, and Prime contractors. A significant element was the opportunities for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
Founder and Veteran Neal Chaikin commented “NSCA has been growing over the last 20 years, primarily in the commercial market. We now have a new opportunity to earn business as an SDVOB and SDVOSB, serving the US Government and DoD contractors with precision test equipment and high quality services, while enabling them to fulfill their Veteran Program obligations.”
Vice President Bill Howden shared “NSCA and Tra-Cal has been doing business with the Federal Government and DoD contractors, but as simple, commercial engagements. Taking specific actions to engage in the SDVOB and SDVOSB programs, we can better serve our federal customers, enable decision makers to find us easier, and formalize our engagements with Prime Contractors. It becomes a three-way win.”
In addition to formal engagements with Agencies and Prime Contractors, the firm has enhanced their website http://nscainc.com with searchable index tools for NAICS codes, SIN codes, and GSA Schedules.
