stickers, mugs and more sporting classic Soviet, American, and Chinese
propaganda images, has expanded its product offerings with new products
and designs.
"These designs are one of a kind," Scott Kirwin, the self-described
"Minister of Propaganda" says, "and will shock and awe your liberal
friends and neighbors." New designs include graphics critical of
Democratic candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, images
supporting human rights campaigns in Tibet, Burma and Sudan, as well as
graphics poking fun at China's human rights record and hosting of the
2008 Summer Olympics. "Unfortunately the term 'Olympics' and the
five-ring logo are trademarked, so we couldn't use them," Kirwin states.
"Instead we used graphics with the words '2008 Beijing Games' and a
Chinese tank. We feel that the tank makes a better mascot for the
Olympics than the officially recognized Panda Bears. After all, the
Chinese army doesn't send pandas to crush protests in Tibet."
Other new designs include pictures of Democrat Party presidential
candidate Barack Obama with the phrase "God Damn America." While Kirwin
recognizes that the quote is from Obama's spiritual mentor Rev. Jeremiah
Wright, he argues that it reflects Obama's own personal beliefs. "Obama
attended Wright's church for 20 years. Wright baptized his children.
Obama wrote in his own book that he considered the Reverend his mentor
and spiritual guide. Now when Wright's racist views and nutty conspiracy
beliefs are widely reported we are to believe that Obama knew nothing
about them? Either Obama didn't have the courage to leave the church or
he agrees with the pastor's views."
Another new graphic shows the GOP elephant with the words "Official
Obama Cult Deprogrammer."
to back Obama before much was known about him," Kirwin says, noting that
several political commentators had likened this rush to the behavior of
members of a cult.
The Ministry of Propaganda has also expanded its product offerings for
its most popular designs. "Our Marine Corps and 9-11 graphics -
including the provocative "You want Peace? I want 4 jets, 2 towers and
3000 lives back first - remain our top sellers. We've listened to our
customers by applying these unique images to a wide range of new
products," Kirwin says. The Ministry of Propaganda now offers these
popular pro-military and anti-terror slogans on book bags, long-sleeved
t-shirts and other products.
The Ministry of Propaganda has also revamped and expanded its classic
propaganda line by offering new graphics and products. The images, done
in the style of socialist realism, include depictions of Lenin, Mao, and
communist soldiers. The Ministry has also improved the quality of all of
its graphics in order to match its growing popularity. "We've improved
the color depth and layout for many of our graphics so that they exceed
our clients' expectations,"
discounts, we hope to provide our customers with the wry and hip
attitudes they demand."
