PRLog -- ILLFortunes.com (online Summer 2008) has decided to discontinue Ichabauk Rum as its pseudonym/author, promotional voice, and image. "He sends the wrong message to the public," said a spokesperson for ILLFortunes.com, "and distracts from the great writing of ILL : Book One. Alan Grayson will be the new pseudonym/author, taking over the completion of ILL : Book Two as well as the rest of the ILL series of novels. His name will appear along with the cover of ILL : Book Two at the launch of ILLFortunes.com's web site in mid Summer 2008. ILL : Book One will be displayed and is still available online. Key word : Ichabauk Rum. Mr. Rum will not displayed or quoted. In addition, Alan Grayson will be the pseudonym/author name for a collection of short stories. We are dedicated to providing the reading public with our version of alternative fiction that explores alternative viewpoints and thoughts about our reality. We want people to read our novels in order to experience that exploration firsthand and to experience conflicts in new and different ways. Mr. Rum has an agenda that no longer fits in with the goals of ILLFortunes.com. We believe we are at the cutting edge of 21st century fiction. We want to push the envelope of human perception. We want to tantalize the human mind. We believe there is great drama, storytelling, and suspense in our novels. This is not a time for distractions from that kind of an adventure. Ichabauk Rum, as a name and an image, could have been a great horror asset and may yet return but for now the novels come first and his participation is holding us back."
