Capital Hip Hop Soul Fest Acts Afi Soul & The Uninterrupted Band Vie for Votes for Fox TV Contest

PRLog (Press Release) – May 01, 2008 – Washington DC FOX affiliate Fox 5, myfoxdc and  local Ford Dealers are giving one Washington DC-based band the opportunity to headline a gig at Jammin Java and perform LIVE on Fox 5 Morning News.

Two artists, vocalist Afi Soul and the band Uninterrupted are two acts competing for the chance to win. Both acts will be featured on the line-up of the upcoming Capital Hip Hop Soul Fest taking place on Saturday, July 26, 2008 in Washington DC's Marvin Gaye Park.

More than 100 bands submitted a track and photo to Fox 5, yet only seventeen acts were chosen as finalists to receive votes from the public .

Voters will listen and decide who gets take center stage. Voting begins at 12:00 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2008 and runs through 11:59 p.m. on May 11,2008.

The winner will be announced on May 12 during Fox 5 Morning News.
