The Mixxbosses launches new social network
DJ organization the Mixxbosses which is a small group of DJS, producers and industry professionals launches new social network which primarily consist of mixtape DJS from all DJ organizations. The new website site launched in January of 2008 and already has 1322 members on the site. The CEO and founder of the Mixxbosses DJ Panic is known for his graphic designs of mixtape covers predominantly in the mid west and is a DJ himself.
The Mixxbosses plan to introduce new music into the main stream, and underground music culture by pushing promotional mixtapes, and featuring artists in online discussions and listening sessions via the Mixxbosses.com website. Some of the subjects include: Planning and promotion national or regional, and holding educational events and concerts for the music industry and the public. The website allows networking between DJS, producers, artists, graphic designers, promoters, and publicists.
The Mixxbosses were created in order to give street DJS and mixtape DJS
a avenue to network, break music, improve their art, collaborate, become informed on business and the music industry, and build relationships.

About DJ Panic: DJ PANIC was born and raised in Monroe, La and moved to Indianapolis, 15 years ago with his family. A great move provided him with lots of opportunity and some great relationships. DJ PANIC became a DJ at the age of 17, focusing heavily on the art of the turntable and educating himself on the 4 elements of Hip-Hop, Breakdancing, the emcee, graffiti, and of course the DJ. After learning about origins of Hip-Hop and the music that started the movement, DJ PANIC was hooked!
DJ Panic is not only as a Hip-Hop/Rap fan but a fan of music in general. In High School DJ Panic took several music classes, from music theory to Jazz Band and excelled in all of them. Holding first chair in all of the instruments he played. DJ Panic set out on battling for a few years but after few wins he decided that being a "Battle DJ" was not going to put him in the position to play music for the masses.
DJ PANIC then set out to promote himself as a DJ any way he could, pressing up and giving away more than 6k copies of his mixtape with DJ Drew J in the streets, and in the clubs, at work, and to all of his friends ,he was finally building a name for himself. In 2006 DJ PANIC and DJ Bnasty were nominated for the Southern Entertainment Awards "Mixtape of the year", and in 2008 he got nominated again at the Southern Entertainment Awards and was nominated by the Justo Mixtape awards.
