About The Presenter: Michael R. McDaniel is a 1977 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy. He began his practice of pharmacy in the IV lab of Hendrick Medical Center after graduation and one year later became the Director of Pharmacy of a small 118 bed hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. Michael was the Director of Pharmacy for Methodist Medical Center (518) beds for 15 years before moving to Saint Francis Hospital (918) beds in Tulsa, Oklahoma for 5 years. Currently he has been the Director of Pharmacy at Huntsville Hospital for the past 5 years.
Michael is a 1990 SKB Fellow of the Leonard Davis Institute of HealthCare Economics (affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business) and is a 2000 Fellow of the American Society of Health-system Pharmacists. He received an MBA in General Business from Amberton University, Dallas, TX in 1990.
