May 08, 2008 – Wiesbaden – dynaTrace Diagnostics from dynaTrace software, the award-winning leader in lifecycle application performance management for distributed Java and .NET applications, won the 2008 JAX Innovation Award for its contribution to Java, Eclipse and SOA at the JAX Conference April 23.
"dynaTrace Diagnostics convinced us with an advanced approach to performance testing of enterprise applications, supporting both J2EE and .NET," said Sebastian Meyen, jury member and Program Chair of JAX. "The company provides an excellent example of how clever technology and a sophisticated business model can succeed in a market otherwise dominated by large sellers.”
"We were able to convince the jury of dynaTrace’s superiority in all the judged categories,”
said Bernd Greifeneder, CEO of dynaTrace. “Our customers’ technicians have long attested to this superiority. The response of the jury and participants at JAX confirms the advantage of our technology and strength of our business model."
The jury awarded dynaTrace the €10,000 first prize on the basis of innovation, market performance, and impact of proposed solutions. "The JAX innovation Award is an important catalyst for the success of European IT projects", said Masoud Kamali, JAX Innovation Award Creator and CEO/Founder of Software & Support Publishing. Previous winners include Spring Framework and Groovy.
"dynaTrace Diagnostics® is the first software solution for business-critical applications proactively focusing on performance and stability throughout the lifecycle that provides root-cause isolation,” said Greifeneder. “This enables efficient, systematic reduction in Mean-Time-To-Repair, effectively eliminating many of the most common reasons for delayed software releases, poor quality and high failure costs."
