PRLog (Press Release) –
Apr 29, 2008 – With all of the hustle and bustle in life, there simply isn’t enough time to actually live life anymore and there is no indication that it will change any time soon. In fact, with employers placing increasing demands on employees we will likely find ourselves losing even more time by putting in overtime and working weekends. Meanwhile, our demands at home remain the same and are neglected. Marriages end and families are broken apart all because there isn’t enough time to tend to the things that matter. It’s unfair to say the least.
The average person spends a minimum of eleven and a half hours a day waking up, getting ready, commuting, working and driving home. Then they have to prepare dinner and run errands including: shopping, running to the post office, doctor’s appointments, car maintenance, home repairs, dry cleaning, relieving your pet, checking on an elderly relative, kids sports, birthdays, holidays, cleaning your house & car and the list goes on. The majority of the population when working full time, especially salaried employees, are working between 10 and 12 hours a day, if not more. It is becoming increasingly difficult to balance work and life when the majority of your time awake is spent working. And, as your work time increases your quality of life and time with your family decreases. Recent studies show people prefer more leisure time for themselves and their family than an increase in salary. People are beginning to realize that their time is worth more than money. As Tina Parish Owner of Parish Personal Services and Living Assistance in Sandusky, OH says, “There's an enormous and increasing demand for errand services. Every year, thousands of time-starved employees and business owners spend millions of dollars to pay errand service businesses to do routine tasks because in these hectic days, they have no choice. There’s simply not enough time in the day to get everything done!” Parish Personal Services and Living Assistance provides a wide variety of errand services to residents of Sandusky, OH and surrounding communities including Cleveland and Toledo, Ohio. Providing people with leisure time to spend with their families as well continue to work full time, providing a valuable service to their employers. “My mission is to provide a service that is elemental in improving the quality of life for my customers by essentially giving them back their time”, says Tina. “I have worked full time all of my life. I am a wife and I want to have children but, with employers demanding more of my time, I have had to put that off. I knew I wouldn’t have quality of life. Then, one day I said, I wish there were someone I could call to help me with my errands and it hit me, I could be that person!” # # # About Parish Personal Services and Living Assistance:
