Apr 29, 2008 – RALEIGH, N.C. – When Network Management Partners (NMP), a well-known provider of managed I.T. services in the Triangle, found out that AniMall pet adoption center needed equipment to keep finding good homes for rescued pets, they knew they could make the perfect contribution: refurbished computers.
NMP donated the refurbished computers to AniMall earlier this month. One computer is already being used as an application kiosk to help families complete the pet adoption process while at AniMall in the Morrisville Outlet Mall. Volunteers use the second computer to track their donated hours and also to do computer work for AniMall.
“NMP’s computers are already helping AniMall,” said Dan Richards, chairman of the board and volunteer for AniMall. “We often lose people on that final step of going home and filling out the adoption application. Thanks to NMP, the computers are facilitating more adoptions by allowing people to complete applications on-site when they see an animal.”
“We’re happy we can help more pets find a good home,” said Andy Wells, vice president of operations for NMP. “While we specialize in I.T. support, we’re more broadly interested in giving back to the community. AniMall was a great fit for us, and we hope the donation inspires more people to give rescued animals a forever home.”
