ChefsBest™, an independent judging organization dedicated to recognizing and honoring food products in the United States, has awarded Eurofresh Farms’ Tomatoes on the Vine (TOVs) with the 2008 ChefsBest™Award for Best Taste. Eurofresh’s produce line has been recognized as "America's Best Tasting Tomatoes" by the organization for more than 10 years.

Tomatoes were judged on their appearance, aroma, flavor, taste and texture, as well as their flavor and texture in a buffalo mozzarella, basil leaf and olive oil recipe.
Several competing brands were evaluated blind by professional chefs from the San Francisco Bay Area that were selected for industry experience and by palate acuity screening on an array of food and beverage products. Each chef completed ChefsBest’s Center for Taste™ Certification Program to be certified as Master Tasters™.
Eurofresh Farms has been growing and selling TOVs since 1998 and currently produces the Brilliant variety for their size and taste. The company has exclusive rights to produce and market the Brilliant TOVs in the United States and Canada.
