Tvg Delivers Live All-access Coverage Of Hollywood Park’s Spring/summer Horse Racing Meet

PRLog (Press Release) – Apr 28, 2008 – The meet, celebrating its 70th anniversary, features some of the most prestigious thoroughbred horse racing of the year.  TVG’s live coverage will include exclusive airings and trackside editions of some of the network’s most popular shows in addition to special wagers for account holders.  

Opening weekend coverage will culminate with the Cal National Gold Rush IX, a series of 10 races for California thoroughbreds and total purse money of $1.3 million on Sunday, April 27.  Another highlight of the day will be Lava Man’s performance in the $150,000 TVG Khaled Stakes following a six-month layoff.  That day and each Sunday of the meet, TVG will produce its signature series, Horse racing: All-Access providing viewers an insider’s perspective on racing by attaching wireless microphones to jockeys, trainers, owners and race officials, bringing the sounds and the behind-the-scenes excitement of horse racing to life.  
Throughout the meet, TVG will present a $150,000 Guaranteed Pick Four each weekday and a $300,000 Guaranteed Pick Four on Saturdays and Sundays. Hollywood Park will also offer the $1 Million Guaranteed Pick Six four times throughout the meet on Cal National Gold Rush Day (April 27), Shoemaker Breeders’ Cup Mile Day (May 26, Memorial Day), Hollywood Gold Cup Day (June 28) and on American Oaks/CashCall Mile Day (July 5).

TVG’s expert commentators and analysts will broadcast live from Hollywood Park throughout the meet, bringing TVG audiences live race coverage, analysis, and trackside interviews before and after the races to help viewers make informed wagers.
