FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Apr 28, 2008 – DENVER, Colo., – IP Commerce, Inc., a software company delivering on-demand access to the next generation of commerce services, was selected to demonstrate its IP Commerce Platform at FinovateStartup in San Francisco tomorrow. This is the first public demonstration of this exciting technology platform. Tyler Hannan, Platform Evangelist for IP Commerce, will present.

Hannan will show the IP Commerce Platform’s dynamic ability to payment-enable any software and simply and securely provision on-demand payment types to merchants and small businesses. The IP Commerce Platform allows its partners to drive their business into unexplored channels and capture new opportunities. The Platform offers lower cost of customer acquisition and creates a stickier end-user relationship.

The Platform is the technology layer that allows for an open ability to innovate, shedding the closed infrastructure of yesterday to reach niche markets with targeted software-based payments solutions. Software companies, service providers and sales channels leverage the Platform’s evolutionary technology layer to partner in a one-to-many environment never before available.  By integrating to the Platform, IP Commerce Partners are able to create new commerce-enabled solutions, dramatically expand their channel, expose more value-added services to market and explore niche channels that, in the past, have been too cost-prohibitive to reach.

The Platform addresses a long-standing payments industry need to efficiently sell to and activate new customers, like small-and-medium sized businesses, that meet compliance, security, cost and scale considerations. Ultimately, the Platform allows software companies, service providers and distribution channels to collaborate in a new value-chain, becoming more nimble and responsive to customer needs in today’s competitive commerce marketplace while building stronger customer relationships.

“We’re very excited to be included in this innovative group of financial technology companies,” said IP Commerce CEO Chip Kahn, who will also be attending the event in San Francisco. “We’re seeing a lot of evolution in the payments industry right now and the IP Commerce Platform makes it easier for these companies and their partners to keep up with the pace of all these changes and deliver products and services that fit their unique business needs.”

FinovateStartup is the follow-up conference to last fall's Finovate Conference in New York. In this new event, 40 of the most innovative financial technology companies have been chosen to give a five-minute demonstration before hundreds of leading executives, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, press, analysts and bloggers – no PowerPoint presentations allowed. The full-day event includes networking sessions where attendees are invited to ask questions of the presenting startups. The first Finovate Conference last year was a sold-out event.
