Solution Language Tool

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Apr 28, 2008 – Solution Language Oy (http://www.solutionlanguage.com), provider of innovation methods and tools, has released visual Solution Language Tool for innovating and developing systems, software and processes. Solution Language Tool presents the goal - the real world need, which the system, software or process must fulfil. The goal is presented visually using the concepts of the real world. Due to easy visual notation and real world concepts everyone from developers to customers, marketing and management are able to participate ideation. This results in effective communication in projects. The creativity of all stakeholders can be focused on solving the problem without burdening the ideation with paradigms, technologies or work processes as traditional software modelling methods do.

The innovator sketches the idea from two visual perspectives – mind map and activity map. Mind map - invented by Tony Buzan, is a thinking tool designed to support creative work in the way our brain works. Key features of a mind map are: radial structure, use of images, symbols, words, colors, and curved lines in a simple, basic, natural and brain-friendly way. Mind map works in line with our brain's natural way of working. Everything starts in the center of the map and ideas radiate in all directions as curved branches. Branches are split to sub-branches. Images and colors bring life to mind map and stimulate our brain. Radial structure responds ideally to idea bursts and allows us to work in all detail levels fast and concurrently. Activity map - invented by Solution Language Oy, is a mind map like notation for studying the functionality and the dynamics of the idea. Activity map presents the units, messages, activities and control of the idea. Activity mapping supports also ideation of user interfaces. Mind maps and activity maps can be created concurrently, which sharpens and accelerates thinking.

In Solution Language Tool environment the ideas flow fluently from brain to screen thus stimulating creativity. User interface has been carefully designed to support thinking process. Thoughts will be interactively mapped to genuine, organic mind maps and activity maps. The innovator is able to draw smoothly bending lines with a single stroke. The intelligent editor makes editing of the maps quick and easy. The tool is able to automatically assign the same color to related topics. Visual effects result in artistic and creative appearance to maps. The maps can be enriched with variety of other information including image, video, audio, text and spreadsheet documents, web sites, email links, among others.

Solution Language Tool runs on Windows Vista, XP and 2000 platforms. The price for professional users is EUR 279 and for home and educational users EUR 69. For additional information, product evaluation, white papers and online shop, please visit http://www.solutionlanguage.com.
