Press Freedom Dinner News: New Scooter to be auctioned off at Sydney Press Freedom Dinner on May 2nd

PRLog (Press Release) – Apr 27, 2008 – Program co-ordinator of the Walkley’s Foundation, Fleur Mitchell recently partnered with Sydney scooter company http://www.ManhattanScooters.com.au to auction off a brand new Gondola scooter on May 2nd at the Four seasons Hotel Sydney Press Freedom Dinner. The event will be broadcast on Sky News as part of the lead up to International Press Freedom Day on May 3rd.

The Press Freedom Dinner will be hosted by Julia Zeriro from Rockwiz.

The fund provides humanitarian and legal assistance to media professionals in the Asia-Pacific Region.

In 2008, the fund will be supporting the continuing education of children in Nepal, whose parents have been killed while engaged in their journalistic work.

The Press Freedom Dinner will bring together over 350 of the cream of Australia's media. Channel 7,9,ABC,SBS Channel NSW, Foxtel, Fairfax, News Limited are all taking Media Partner Tables on the night and only one person will have the opportunity to ride home on a new Gondola scooter..
