Grass on the Dash

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Apr 25, 2008 – SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Grass on the Dash is the innovative new product from Blitzo Enterprises, LLC. Taking the concept of car accessories and fad gadgets to the next level, the mobile planter for cars looks set to be a popular gift choice this coming spring season and beyond.

“Originally I wanted to create a complete dashboard covered with grass,” says creator and owner of Grass on the Dash, Ryan Bergevin. “This was where the original name for the product came from. But then it became obvious that a mobile planter that attaches to your windshield would be a better idea.”

Since the mobile planter uses suction cup technology to attach itself to the windshield, Blitzo needed to find a company that had experience in this area. Step forward Gomadic, who already distribute PDA and GPS holders that are affixed to the windshield. With this affiliation in place, Blitzo moved forward with the completion of the design and manufacture of what has become the Grass on the Dash mobile planter.

Simple and unique, the Grass on the Dash mobile planter is ideal for those long journeys to work, dropping the children off at school, or anyone who wants to brighten up their everyday driving. Based around the idea of a small household plant, the design incorporates a standard thinwall pot that houses the plant itself. With space between the bottom of the pot and the thinwall, there’s room for the plant to drain with no danger of any leakage from the planter.

The real beauty of the mobile planter is that it can be used for either live plants or artificial plants, making it a truly functional planter and taking it a step beyond the vase in the VW Beetle. Now any suitable plant can grow in the car, from cactus to small bonsai trees. Or, if time isn’t available to care for a plant, an artificial arrangement can be used to enjoy the aesthetic benefits of a plant in the car.

At the special price of only $19.95, the Grass on the Dash mobile planter is definitely within the impulse buy market that is ideal for any gift. With the added bonus that it can be attached to other glass surfaces - an office window for example - the planter looks set to be one of this year’s most unique and fun gifts. Whether it’s a self-purchase or a gift for someone else, the Grass on the Dash mobile planter looks set to add some fun to anyone’s life.
