Apr 25, 2008 – MOTOR EXPO 2008 Logo Unveiled
Reflecting the Initiative “OBLIGATION OF MANKIND TO STOP GLOBAL WARMING”
Mue-nang Piyapongs, Art Director, Public Media and Communications Co., Ltd., disclosed that the design of the logo for “THE 25th THAILAND INTERNATIONAL MOTOR EXPO 2008” was derived from the slogan of the Expo this year, viz, “OBLIGATION OF MANKIND TO STOP GLOBAL WARMING”. We aim to create a modern image with lines connoting swiftness, hoping to make communication with the general public easily comprehensible. “The sketch of the globe shows rising global surface temperature, while numerous hands below it represent the obligation of every human, further clarified by the caption iterating the Expo slogan to rouse the public as well as the Thai automotive industry and international car makers to cooperate in preventing global warming crisis that could otherwise cause untold harm in the future. “THE 25th THAILAND INTERNATIONAL MOTOR EXPO 2008”, which will take place during November 28 to December 10, 2008 at IMPACT Challenger 1-3, Muang Thong Thani, is also prepared to play its part in the cooperation by staging a show of new vehicle models developed to curtail global warming vigorously.
