Radio DJ lives in Elevator 42 Hours

Hartford Ct. – WKSS-FM, Hartford Morning show air talent Wal-mart Jeff is currently living in the middle elevator in the building located at 10 Columbus Blvd. in Hartford, CT. (With the kind permission from building management).

Wal-mart Jeff vowed to live in the elevator for 42 hours, live on the air during a spirited exchange with his broadcast team mates Courtney and Jordan, and they took him up on the challenge. After one hour in the elevator, Jeff admitted that it is going to be more challenging than he expected.

The radio bit started Wednesday morning 4/23/08 and will end Friday.

The local radio competition was kind enough to devote several segments with the rival morning show venting on how "KISS 95.7 stole their idea." If you see the folks from the competition could you thank them for us?

We have already witnessed larger than usual crowds in the building lobby waiting for the elevator with Jeff in it, just to catch a glimpse of the buffoon. If you have a second, stop by the middle elevator at 10 Columbus Blvd., to offer Jeff a few words of encouragement or just join him for one of the many rides he will encounter over the next 42 hours!
