PALO ALTO, California---—Prima Soriano announced the launch of tomKIT (time of month), a new generation of environmental, biodegradable feminine hygiene products in a convenient, colorful kit.
tomKIT is the first product offering from Prima Soriano and the vision of cousins Mila Marburg and Diane Wieder. From their initial conversations about the billions of
feminine products in landfills, and the modesty of pre-teen girls, they went on a mission to create a chic and compact kit for girls and women that gives them the peace of mind that they are always prepared in an emergency. They coined the phrase “Emergency Girl Pack”.
In keeping with their “green” philosophy, they searched for flushable and biodegradable pads, liners, wipes, and underwear. They also included hand sanitizer and lip balm, both made with no animal testing. And tucked inside, the essential cycle chart to keep that time of month on track...printed on recycled paper, of course. All of this fits in a natural harvested jute case, which was custom designed to be stylish and useful.
This is what environmental consultant Joan Satt had to say about the kits,
“What a unique way to welcome girls into womanhood and instill an environmental ethic at the same time. And it’s always good for grown-ups to be reminded of the need to support the planet."
The "Emergency Girl Pack" is ideal to put in duffle bags for campers, backpacks for students, briefcases for workers, luggage for travelers, purses for moms, glove compartments for drivers…...the list is limitless.
Tomkits sell for $25.00. Both the kit and refill sacks are available online at tomKIT.net
