The tradition continues as Fourth Street Live! renews the highly popular Miller Lite “Hot Country Nights” Concert Series for a 5th consecutive year. Since 2004, Fourth Street Live! has hosted some of the hottest names in country music in downtown Louisville for a series of FREE concerts. 2008 marks the 5th year for the series presented by Miller Lite, and supported by Wild Turkey, and WAMZ. The series has become one of the most highly-anticipated summer events at the downtown entertainment district. As always, the series includes a lineup of concerts that feature today’s most popular national and regional performers. This year Miller Lite “Hot Country Nights” kicks off with a special show by rising newcomer Lady Antebellum on Friday, April 25th as the group celebrates the national release of its self-titled debut CD featuring the hit single “Love Don’t Live Here.” After that, the series heats up in June with the following shows scheduled through the summer:

Wednesday, June 4 – Tracy Lawrence brings his classic country sound to Fourth Street Live! with 22 Top 10 hits such as “Sticks and Stones,” “Find Out Who Your Friends Are,” “Paint Me A Birmingham,” and “Times Marches On.”
Wednesday, June 25 – Jake Owen, nominated for the 2008 ACM Top New Male Vocalist award, returns with crowd-pleasing tunes from his album “Startin’ With Me,” including “Yee Haw,” “Something About a Woman,” and the title cut.
Wednesday, July 2 – Eric Church will feature tunes from his forthcoming album “Carolina” (due out this fall), including the new single “My Kind of Love (His Kind of Money).” Also, expect to hear hits such as; “Two Pink Lines,” and “Guys Like Me” which received a CMT nomination for Breakthrough Video of the Year.
Wednesday, July 16 – Jason Michael Carroll will have them dancin’ with tunes such as “Livin’ Our Love Song,” “Alyssa Lies,” and “I Can Sleep When I’m Dead.”
Thursday, July 24 – Rising star Ashton Shepherd features songs from her debut album “Sounds So Good” including the title cut along with “Takin’ Off This Pain,” and “I Ain’t Dead Yet.”
Wednesday, August 6 – Luke Bryan, the only country music artist named among Billboard magazine’s 2007 New Names to Watch, will kick it up with hits “All My Friends Say,” and “We Rode in Trucks” from the album “I’ll Stay Me.”
Free parking for Fourth Street Live! is conveniently located at the Fourth Street Live! / PARC garage on Fifth Street between Muhammad Ali and Liberty after 6:00 p.m. Additional parking is offered at the Seelbach Garage and the Hyatt Garage.
