Atchik-Realtime appoints a COO to further accelerate development.

PR Log (Press Release) – Apr 23, 2008 – Gilles Brochen was previously Chief Operating Officer of the Berger-Levrault group where he successfully lead it’s mutation from a printing company and media publisher to being the number one French software company for local public community services. His career started in the Indosuez Bank in 1979 from where he went on to join the media group Les Echos later becoming the Chief Executive Officer from 1990 to 1996.

In 1996 he set up GBD Media, a consulting company in strategy and organisation that focused on media and new technologies. In 1998, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Spir Communication, a free Press Group, where he spearheaded an ambitious strategy of diversification towards internet media.

As Chief Operating Officer, he will lead the application of Atchik-Realtime’s strategy and be in charge of managing the company on a day-to-day basis.
