PebbleArt Designs has just completed work on a series of two new coffee tables. The designs are based on a wrought iron frame, and feature a table top consisting of a custom choice of two, or eight, hand picked natural stones.
Recognized for their commitment to innovation, PebbleArt has been uniting natural stone with human creativity for years. Well known for their illuminated onyx plant stands, the company has been producing various stone tables for 5 years now. This newest series builds on past success, taking many of the popular elements in other designs and using them to move to the next level.
The first iron and stone coffee table produced by the company is a bi-stone design, with two, 20 inch, custom natural stone inserts acting as the table top. The second, designed shortly thereafter, uses the same wrought iron frame but its top is made up 8 of the stone inserts. The table tops on either one are customizable, with customers being given a choice of up to 7 different colored materials to choose from.
While the design is simple, inspiration for these pieces came largely from artist Joseph Lewis. When asked about the tables, he was quoted as saying, “I’m very satisfied with these pieces. They represent everything this company stands for, simplicity, natural beauty, seamless function, and quality work …. I really think we’ve come a long way with our designs, and this is just the proof that what we are doing really is working.”
