Combining The “Old And The New” For Steven Ybarra’s CD Release Show

April 22, 2008 - PRLog -- CARLSBAD, CA – Seasoned in the music scene, but new as a solo artist, singer/songwriter Steven Ybarra will host a CD release show celebrating his first full-length solo album, Love Love Love, in a very old setting…. the historic Crest Theater in Oceanside, now the Grace Chapel of the Coast.  (102 N. Freeman St. Oceanside, CA 92054.)  The show kicks off on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 7:00 pm and is open to the public at no charge.  


The location served as a theater from 1951 – 1981 and is still considered one of the iconic, cultural spots of North County.  It has been renovated with updated acoustics and computer projection technology, giving a diverse ambiance for the frequent movie screenings, concerts, and theatrical events it hosts.  Through the years, the iconic stage has felt the footsteps of entertainers such as Jason Mraz, and has been the setting for community events and festivals.
