Apr 21, 2008 – Local Nights Out online reservation system for restaurants across the UK which has been in development has now been launched on
http://www.localnightsout.com . This new feature on Local Nights Out makes it possible for you to reserve a table online with no reservation fees.
The first step is to perform a search for restaurants in the area of your choice which you can do by county or town/city. This will obviously return a list of results for your search parameters. You can then choose to either view this list of restaurants on a map or view more details on any of the restaurants.
The more detailed view will show you the address details, the telephone and fax numbers, a longer description of the restaurant and it’s facilities and also provide a contact form should you wish to contact the restaurant with any queries. You will also find at this stage a booking calendar where you can select the date that you would like to make a reservation for. You will then be shown the available times for that selected date. You then just fill in your name and contact details and make your reservation.
At launch we have over 1500 restaurants across the UK with the online reservation system. Of these 812 are in London itself with 854 in the Greater London area.
With more and more people using the internet to find information it makes sense to be able to use an online reservation or booking system if you are already online anyway.
