AUTSUN.COM announces partnership with Paymate India to accept SMS based payment on AUTSUN’s rapidly growing shopping service.
Mobile commerce in India has so far been restricted to SMS based alerts/transaction details provided by banks. This industry has finally started to open up with interesting applications like SMS based payments gaining ground.
While shopping at AUTSUN, the customer merely has to respond to an SMS authorizing the payment via her mobile phone. The customer checks out her shopping cart on AUTSUN, is redirected to the Paymate server which sends an SMS to the customer’s registered mobile phone. As soon as the customer responds to the SMS with a secure PIN number, the transaction is transparently authorized by Paymate’s network of banks where the customer is an account holder.
The process is secure, painless and takes less than a minute.
