Apr 19, 2008 – In an aesthetic fusion of modern meets romance with overtones of Italian cinematography, a section of the interior at the Italian restaurant Centonove has been transformed into an art gallery, allowing up and coming artists the chance to display their work whilst giving the restaurant’s guests the opportunity to enjoy a variety of artists on a regular basis.
To coincide with the launch of the tantalizing new menu, an art gallery has been designed and allocated within the restaurant.
Working alongside glimpseonline.com the premiere online art and design marketplace, Centonove carries forth an Italian theme and introduces Paola De Giovanni as the first featured artist.
Passionate about design that has beauty and function, Paola De Giovanni is a trained textile designer who has a strong interest in fashion history. Her designs are inspired by photographic research and mono prints. Dedicated and imaginative, Paola has exhibited her work internationally and was recently shortlisted for the 2008 “Uniqlo” T-Shirt Design Competition.
