NSCA Expands Refurbished Product Line

Gaithersburg, MD,  -  NSCA Technology announced the expansion of their refurbished test instrument product line. NSCA will now carry several Handheld Spectrum Analyzers,  from three major test equipment manufacturers.  These instruments are used in the satellite, wireless, and TV/Radio telecommunication industries, and serve as powerful field test tools.

Corporate VP Bill Howden commented “We see a strong demand for field test tools, with the rapid expansion of broadband networks.  We chose three families of products—Agilent N9340A and N9340B, Rohde & Schwarz FSH3, FSH6, and FSH18, as well as Anritsu’s MS2711AS and MS2711B.  These units cover a wide spectrum of field needs, and are powerful portable Spectrum Analyzer tools.”

NSCA’s market advantage is to provide ‘like-new’ equipment to the end customer, by acquiring the test equipment from reliable sources, such as key customers or the OEM.  NSCA then performs a refurbish operation which typically includes cleaning, repair, new batteries, acquiring missing accessories, calibration, and adjustments necessary to ensure the unit operates to OEM specification.  The firm then furnishes the unit with a warranty for a significantly lower cost than the identical new instrument.
