Apr 17, 2008 – KVOA, a full-service television station serving Tucson, Ariz. as the NBC affiliate, has named Craig Wisnom, attorney for Bogutz & Gordon, P.C. as an legal contributor for KVOA’s “News 4 at 4:00” program. Wisnom will be seen frequently on the 4:00 p.m. broadcast informing viewers of the legal issues associated with topical news stories.
His first segment as a contributor will be on April 29, 2008, where he will discuss issues involving grandparents raising their grandchildren such as the differences between physical custody and legal custody, legal boundaries involving adoption and how to gain financial help when raising. Wisnom is a Certified Specialist in Estate & Trust Law by the State Bar of Arizona. He is a Tucson native who has practiced law for 12 years in Arizona in the areas of estate planning, estate and gift taxation, probate and trust administration. A former Chair of the State Bar Probate & Trust Section and the State Bar’s Estate and Trust Advisory Committee for Specialization, Wisnom has also served on the Non-Uniform Laws Drafting Subcommittee. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Southern Arizona Estate Planners Council, and is active in developing and presenting continuing legal education programs. Wisnom was recently named as the recipient of the State Bar of Arizona’s 2008 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Award for his outstanding contributions to educate Arizona’s attorneys throughout their careers.
