Apr 17, 2008 – Kate Coxworth, President of Kate Boggiano, LLC was announced by the City of Chicago as one of the designers in residence for the Chicago Fashion Incubator at Macy’s on State Street. Six designers have been chosen for the inaugural year of the Chicago Fashion Incubator (CFI) at Macy’s on State Street in Chicago, IL, where they will be provided with the resources including workspace, curriculum, and mentoring, to launch their careers in fashion. The Designers in Residence (DIR) are provided office space, a workshop room with sample production space; as well as a showroom.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of this new and exciting program. It’s great to be a new designer/company and have so much accessibility to such great industry leaders” Coxworth said. “I am excited to see what the future will bring in the up coming year.”
