BOSTON – Jim White, training director for Shermco Industries, presented ‘DC Testing of Transformers’
The Doble Conference is designed exclusively by and for the benefit of the electric utility and testing company delegates. The Conference program is created by nine client committees, each having unique expertise in a particular area. The 2008 Conference marked the 75th year that Doble Engineering has organized and hosted this industry event.
White is the training director for Shermco Industries, a leading provider of rotating apparatus and electrical power system testing, commissioning, repair, maintenance and training. He is the chairman of the 2008 IEEE Industry Applications Society Electrical Safety Workshop and a representative of the Research Testing and Planning working group committee for the IEEE/NFPA collaborative project investigating arc flash hazards. White is a principal member of the technical committee “Recommended Practice for Electrical Equipment Maintenance”
