The digital media economy, the field of 42.000 businesses representing the backbone of the entrepreneurial, social and economic development of Veneto Region, meet at Vega, Venice Scientific and Technological Park, for a two day event featuring conventions, meetings and a Barcamp which will be attended by more than 200 bloggers and web dynamics scholars.

The event is organized by Regione Veneto and MDM, the Digital Media Metadistrict which has more than 780 members among the more dynamic and innovative in the region, the first example of a network ranging from telecommunications, audio and video productions, press, publishing, software and others.

Friday april, 18 from 9 a.m:
Technological Innovation and unified communication
A convention on gthe themes of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) promoted by the Veneto Region, with Massimo Colomban, Fabio Gava, Michele Vianello and the most important representatives of the ICT multinational companies.

Friday april, 18 from 4.30 p.m:
New entrepreneurship and global markets in the digital media sector
Videoconferencing Round Table with Venture Capitalists and start ups of the Silicon Valley, with Richard Boyle of Partnership for Growth, cooperation programme with the United States, Marco Marinucci (Google, Mind the Bridge) who will present the Mind the Bridge programme, projected to give the best business plans the chance to participate to a tour and meet Silicon Valley Venture Capitalists, and Riccardo Donadon, H-Farm founder, the incubator for start ups in the field of technology and new media, who will introduce two innovative companies created in his structure: Zooppa and H-play.

Saturday aprile, 19, all day:
Barcamp
The theme is that of “non conference”, the informal meeting of more than 200 bloggers and web dynamics scholars coming from all Italy, this year is focusing on Twitter and microblogging.
