Apr 15, 2008 – McLean, Virginia – USA - The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) is the membership association for the technology community in Northern Virginia (www.nvtc.org) . NVTC has about 1100 member companies representing more than 200,000 employees. NVTC’s International Committee – Middle East Working Group (http://www.nvtc.org/committees/intl.php) is arranging for a US Business Delegation to Middle East on October 2008. the delegation will visit Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and UAE.
The delegation will include executives from the investment and technology sectors. It is expected that representatives from US Department of Commerce, USTDA and some other US agencies will participate.
It is expected that representatives from Jordan, Egypt, morocco, and Yemen public and private sectors will participate in some of the events. The visit will be during the month of October 2008.
The Fourteen-day visit will be co-sponsored by the US Chamber of Commerce in the host countries (AmCham), Industry associations and the business councils of the host countries located in the US.
To encourage joint business ventures, the delegates will be meeting with host country government officials, representatives from the American embassy, AmCham, the public sector leaders, investment houses, and other key market players.
