Dream Fire Jewelry celebrates the launch of its online store with 20% off selected items. The jewelry is created by three working moms from North Carolina with a passion for creating unique artisan jewelry using fused dichroic glass, fine silver, beads and other materials.
As many moms do, the threesome met through their kids--all of whom go to the same school. They soon discovered their common love: jewelry making. Whenever time allows, Sandra Brey, Colleen Casper and Carol Elliot, work together, out of their in-home studios in central North Carolina, to share their love of arts and the craft of jewelry making, and to inspire each other with creative collaboration. They take classes together and share books and web site articles with each other to hone their craft.
While the moms focus on fused glass, fine and sterling sivler, and beads of gemstones and other materials, they also explore a multitude of other materials. Colleen is working on a new line of polymer clay pendants to launch later this spring.
Despite each having a young family and full time job outside the home, the three mothers are prolific in their craft and have created an extensive collection of unique pieces. "The amount of beautifully handcrafted artwork with such attention to detail never ceases to amaze me" say Paul Brey, Sandra's husband. "These women care deeply about not only realizing their artistic visions, but creating quality work with attention to detail."
The trio is now announcing the grand opening of their online store Dream Fire Jewelry. "After many months of hard work designing and putting together the web site, including photographing and writing descriptions for all the jewelry, the dream of an online store to showcase and sell our creations has finally become a reality," says Sandra Brey, webmaster for the team. "Now we begin the process of getting the word out to the general public. Selling our jewelry enables us to continue to pursue our passion."
