Apr 14, 2008 – Erika B. Hilliard is a registered clinical social worker in Vancouver, British Columbia. She has worked in the field of mental health since 1971. She worked for ten years in community mental health and in acute care psychiatry since 1985. She has also had a private practice for the last 25 years. Erika has been professionally committed to continued education, both as a learner and a teacher. She has been running Social Anxiety Support Groups for close to twenty years.
Erika received an award for the publication of Bipolar Disorder, an Information Booklet for Patients, Families and Friends. Her book, Living Fully with Shyness and Social Anxiety, A Comprehensive Guide to Gaining Social Confidence, published by Marlowe & Company, New York, was released May 2005. She will be discussing Social Anxiety Disorder on Your Mental Health Talk Radio with host Jacqueline Foreman on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 5 PM EST.
