PhotographyCorner.com Announces the Winner of Contest Corner Challenge#48: The Path

April 14, 2008 - PRLog -- Photography Corner ( http://www.PhotographyCorner.com ) has announced that Ben Jacobi is the winner of the site’s latest Contest Corner Challenge, and as such has been awarded a 1-year subscription for a SmugMug Power Account provided by SmugMug.com as well as some PhotographyCorner promotional items.  The recent challenge asked photographers to take a photograph of a path (road, railroad, walkway, etc) as a leading line.  Leading lines are lines within an image that leads the eye to another point in the image, or occasionally, out of the image.  PhotographyCorner.com began offering Contest Corner Challenges in July 2004, and new challenges are issued every 3 weeks throughout the year.

With over 20% of the votes from a total of 24 qualifying submissions, Ben Jacobi won the recent photography challenge CCC#48: The Path with his work, called “Ghost,” which depicted a long dock stretching out over cloud-covered, calm water with a blurred person at the end of the dock.  This is the first Contest Corner Challenge win accomplished by Ben.

Contest Corner Challenges at www.PhotographyCorner.com are issued to site members in the community’s forum and on the Corner Blog (http://www.photographycorner.com/blog).  Only Premiere Members of Photography Corner (requires a yearly or lifetime subscription) are eligible to win some of the bigger prizes, but all members of the site are always invited to submit photographs to the contest, and all have a chance to wins prizes in each contest.  Everyone is invited to participate in the five-day voting window to vote on contest winners and discuss submissions after they have all been received.
